Business of the Month Awards

The Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business of the Month Award is the only program designed to award local companies who exhibit exceptional qualities in the delivery of their business.

Whether it be customer service, product supply, business environs, commitment to community, there are many business that go the extra mile to satisfy the needs of their customers.

To recognise their dedication and reward the community benefits that they provide, the Chamber is proud to offer the opportunity for businesses to be recognised, as nominated by their peers and customers.

Details on the winners are presented in the Award Winners section of this website, in the Whyalla News as part of a monthly feature and in our e-Newletter, which is available to all members.


Nominate a Business

Nominating a local organisation for the Business of the Year Award is simple!

A submission may be made through this website using the online nomination form (opens in a new window).

You can download a nomination form, which can be returned to the Chamber by email, or alternatively mail the form directly to the Chamber (Australia Post),

Some Chamber of Commerce and Industry members also keep nomination forms on-hand, so feel free to ask a member organisation if they have a copy of the form to use.

Business of the Year

Each year, the twelve Business of the Month winners are considered as contenders for the Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business of the Year Award.

Businesses provided with a monthly award between September and the following August are in the running for the award, which is presented at the Chamber's annual dinner in October.
