BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARDS
 
 
Each year the Whyalla Chamber of Commerce and Industry hold Business of the Year awards to signify the hard work and dedication that is put in by small business owners and operators in Whyalla.

 
The event is run in conjunction with the Whyalla Economic Development Board and Small Business Week, an initiative of the State Government.
 
Businesses are nominated on a monthly basis and the winner from the business of the month then has the opportunity to win the business of the year award. Winner of the business of the month awards in the 2008/09 financial year include:

 

 
To extend on the already popular Business of the Year Award presentation, 2009 will see the inclusion of trainee and apprentice of the year and also employer of the year award. This will be run in conjunction with Business SA.
