Callen joined the Chamber of Commerce last year after having moved to Whyalla in January 2011. Callen is a lawyer at local law firm Tindall Gask Bentley and has a broad range of experience in Wills and Estate Planning, Commercial Law, Personal Injury Law, Workers Compensation and Family Law.
Callen grew up in Wudinna prior to attending boarding school in Adelaide. After completing his Law degree at Flinders University, Callen had a desire to return to the Eyre Peninsula and began practicing law in Port Lincoln before moving to Whyalla last year.
Callen appreciates the difficulties often associated with accessing high quality services in isolated locations outside of the city precinct. It is this appreciation that has driven Callen to return to the Eyre Peninsula and provide an invaluable legal service to the people of Whyalla and its surrounding communities.
Since moving to Whyalla Callen has become involved with the North Whyalla Football Club and has also recently become a committee member of the Young Professionals Whyalla.
Callen appreciates the benefits of a strong united community and sees the Chamber of Commerce as an effective way to better promote and market local business interests in Whyalla.
Callen looks forward to the opportunity of working closely with the wider business community in Whyalla for the betterment of Whyalla as a whole. |
